Searcy Co. Ancestor Fair 2019

30th North Arkansas Ancestor Fair will be Friday and Saturday, May 31- June 1, 2019
at the Veterans Hall off Hwy 65, in Marshall, Arkansas. An Ancestor Fair has been 
described as a genealogical swap meet, or a place to brag on your ancestors. Family 
genealogists/historians, county genealogical and historical societies, patriotic 
and other descendant societies, and folks with genealogical material are invited 
to share their material and recruit members. Ancestor Fair Director Shirley Gray

from 2-4 pm at the Legion Hut in Yellville, several local legends and historians will 
tell true tales of villains, victims and vendettas.  Free event for the whole family

October 12-13, 2018 Turkey Trot Festival

March 13, 2018 – General Membership, monthly meeting

2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in the Genealogy room of the Marion Co. Library
in Yellville.

March 10, 2018 – Celebrating the Women of Marion County

Noon - 2:00 at the American Legion Hut, Yellville  
Presentation, authors, display, coloring pages for the kids 
and refreshments.  Guest speaker 101 year old Violet Hensley 
the Whittling Fiddler.
